Station simulation modeling detection



 

With the continuous increase in the installed capacity of renewable energy generation, the stability characteristics of power systems have undergone profound changes. Large-scale grid simulation must account for the external characteristics of renewable energy power stations, while strengthening the simulation modeling and security/stability calculations for renewable energy grid integration.

Simulation modeling for renewable energy grid integration can be categorized into electromechanical transient modeling and electromagnetic transient modeling depending on the application scenario; it can also be classified into device-level simulation modeling and station-level simulation modeling based on the modeling object. Simulation modeling for renewable energy integration primarily involves wind, solar, energy storage, and dynamic reactive power compensation devices. Typical testing items include fault ride-through capability simulation verification, voltage and frequency adaptability validation, and broadband oscillation risk assessment.
